Teologia ecologica e etica ambientale in Scandinavia
Una rassegna storica
Resumen
Ecological theology is a fairly recent development within the field of academic theology in Scandinavia. This article focuses on the rise of ecological theology in Norway with a side view to the other Nordic countries. It is argued that the Scandinavian situation is characterized by two major issues: 1) that Scandinavian theology is strongly influenced by a pietistic Lutheranism, and that pietistic theology has even influenced secular human ecology; 2) that general philosophical thought about ecology in Norway has been strongly influenced by the philosopher Arne Næss, renowned as the founder of the Deep Ecology Movement. This influence can be traced in the author’s personal approach to ecotheology.
