The paper deals with the issue of understanding human creativity in the context of globalization, specifically in linking Teilhard de Chardin’s vision of human evolution with the online production of today’s man. The online media is the medium that visualizes globalization with all its positive and negative aspects associated with the abolition of the privileges of the publishing elite. The universal right to publish obviously leads to an unregulated media environment anarchy. Much, however, indicates that this media production of ordinary “online man” can be considered as part of the cultural evolution of human society which co-creates the “world of thought” of our planet in the sense of the noosphere as part of the evolution of the anthroposphere, as Teilhard de Chardin pointed out. The thinker had described this vision of the noosphere even before the advent of social networks, and yet it seems to anticipate everything that the online world portrays today. Finally, the authors of the paper stress the need for social and human sciences research of whether this “online production” as a kind of human creativity and communication contributes to the spiritual growth of the noosphere, or whether it might even contribute to the spiritual degradation of mankind.
