Abstract

This work seeks to analyze the proposal of H. Jonas for the definition of “common good” at a time of deep crisis to develop an eco-philosophy. In accordance to this aim, it traces the philosophy of nature based on a unified and systemic vision of nature, where the inorganic and organic, material and spiritual are interconnected in according to a scale of complexity-consciousness. Based on being as value it deepens an’ethics based on ontology and it shows how the possibility of being becomes the transcendental a priori for the common good. The human being, through its cultural evolution, bet if he remains as the guardian of being or as a failure evolutionary model because leads to the disappearance of life.
