La filosofia può incontrare la fede religiosa?
Abstract
Philosophy, since its origins, has addressed the issue of dialogue with the religions. This dialogue finds its core in the relationship between reason and faith. Western thought, at times, gave preference to the first term at times to the second. He often emphasized the complementarities between the two. In particular, two issues have emerged, one concerning the essence of religion, the other the relationship between science and faith. The latter problem, since the Galilean revolution, stressed the incommensurability of the two areas beyond any attempt to combine the truths of the first with those of the second.
